Automated data collection
The automation of the answer collection is certainly one of the main goals when computerizing the sensory analysis or the consumer tests. It allows eliminating the tedious manual answer input and decoding, with important advantages:
- Time savings and thus better productivity.
- Maximum reliability by eliminating manual input errors.
All the FIZZ versions meet this goal with different data collection modes:
| FIZZ Network: The judges answer on networked computers. Their answers are collected through the network during the session. | |
| FIZZ Forms: The judges answer on paper forms printed out by the software. Their answers are collected by automatic reading of the forms through a scanner with an automatic sheet feeder. | |
| FIZZ Portable: The judges answer on independent computers on the test location. The questionnaires are transmitted as a file by e-mail, downloading, disk... The collected answers are sent back by the same means. | |
| FIZZ Web: The Judges answer on computers connected to the Internet, from their home or on other corporate sites. Answers are stored on the Web server and then collected from FIZZ. |
You create the questionnaires in the tasters' language.
